Founded in 1888 at Boston University, Tri Delta was created with Sarah Ida Shaw’s idea of “a society that shall be kind alike to all and think more of a girl’s inner self and character than of her personal appearance.” This spurred a long tradition of friendship, visionary leadership, support for women in their academic endeavors, and overall excellence. We believe Tri Delta is a great asset to any college campus.
